I am a Portrait-, Event- und Press-Photographer from Zürich, Switzerland.

My introduction to photography came out of nowhere. One day, my father handed me his old Fuji XT1 and told me to take some photos. Since then, I rarely leave the house without one, two, or three cameras in my bag. Influenced by luck, an insatiable curiosity about people, and a thirst for adventure, my career began, and that's how it’s continued.

Street photography was my first love. Having played in many bands and in many places, I was already very familiar with the stage and its surroundings. This led to my second love for event photography. Because I am extremely shy (although very few people notice), it took me a long time to bring up the courage to take portraits. Now it's what I do most and what I love most.

I studied photojournalism at MAZ in Lucerne, did a yearlong paid internship at Tages-Anzeiger (one of Switzerlands biggest Newspapers) and now take pictures of anything and anywhere I can. I don’t like to brag, but I did win two swiss press awards.
